Chris Martin, Gwyneth Paltrow Conscious Uncoupling Leads to Divorce: Kate Hudson & Jennifer Lawrence Cause Split?

When conscious uncoupling doesn't work there is always the option for divorce. After splitting up almost a year ago, that is what Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have decided to do. Could it be that the couple is looking to get serious with other partners including Kate Hudson, Jennifer Lawrence and Brad Falchuk? Well it might seem that way, as Martin has been rumored to be dating Paltrow's good friend, while Gwyneth herself, has stepped out with the Glee and American Horror Story co-creator.

Radar Online reported that the couple had filed for divorce in Los Angeles earlier this week, and that they were getting all the details figured out between their managers before they went to the courthouse to make the split official.

The two are reportedly still good friends as they just went on Spring Break together with their two kids Apple, 10, and Moses, 8, last month in Mexico.

The Guardian is reporting that while the couple decided to split in March of 2014 that they had actually been separated for a year prior to that. With the two-year anniversary of the breakup being last month, the couple decided that it was time to put a pin in their marriage for good.

In a statement at the time of the split, the couple stated that while they still loved each other that they needed to live separate lives.

"We have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate. We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer then we have ever been," the couple explained. "We are parents first and foremost, to two incredibly wonderful children and we ask for their and our space and privacy to be respected at this difficult time."
