M. Night Shyamalan returns to directing films this year with The Visit, and this week we saw the first trailer for the scary new film. This movie takes a new twist on the Hansel And Gretel story, only with a great twist: the witch in the story is the main characters' grandmother! As we see in this creepy film preview, there's even a scene where the children are about to be forced into an oven! Watch this new trailer for The Visit right here to see what the director has in store for us when the September 2015 release date hits!

We should also point out that Jason Blum and his Blumhouse Productions studio, which has been taking over the horror genre with low-budget blockbusters over the last few years, join Shyamalan as producer. Also, like other Blumhouse films, this is filmed from a handheld camera to make it seem like a "found-footage," or point-of-view type movie. This is probably a good sign for this movie, but we'll have to wait and see.

Another great thing about this movie is that the official website URL is StayInYourRoom.com. The terror is slowly building!

Just last week, the first poster for this film was released, showing that this plot of the movie has a set of rules. It looks like grandma doesn't want to be disturbed in the early hours of the night, but it is our understanding that "kids will be kids!" You can check out this movie poster right here!

Here is the officially synopsis for this movie (via Slash Film):

Shyamalan returns to his roots with the terrifying story of a brother and sister who are sent to their grandparents' remote Pennsylvania farm for a weeklong trip. Once the children discover that the elderly couple is involved in something deeply disturbing, they see their chances of getting back home are growing smaller every day.
