Based on the cult classic from Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez, the first season of From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series marathon airs on El Rey Network. Celebrate Cinco De Mayo with Seth (D.J. Cotrona) and Richie (Zane Holtz) Gecko as they take on mobsters and vampires.
As we previously mentioned, Seth (Cotrona) and Richie (Holtz) are on the run from the cops after a botched robbery. The Gecko Brothers have the bank money that mob boss Carlos (Wilmer Valderrama) hired them to steal. Unfortunately, the brotherly pair end up caught in the middle of an intense shootout with Sheriff McGraw (Don Johnson) and his protege, Freddie Gonzalez (Jesse Garcia).
The first season finale departed from its source material as the brothers ended up at the strip club run by master vampire, Santánico Pandemonium (Eiza González). The Gecko Brothers were at odds with each other as Santanico wanted to become human. Characters who died in the movie took a different (And much better I might add) direction in the series, especially Kate's brother, Scott (Brandon Soo Hoo).
During the marathon, starting from Tuesday, May 5th at dusk (6 PM ET) and concluding at dawn (4am ET), the El Rey Network Founder will release the rock-infused season one soundtrack from his band, CHINGON Music. The Kill Bill Volume 2 composer has included a bonus Spanish version of After Dark. The Tito & Tarantula track played during the iconic snake dance scene in the 1995 film.
