There are only 4 episodes before the season finale ofThe Flash arrives on the CW network. As the identity behind The Reverse-Flash comes even closer, will Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) be able to protect his friends from Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh)'s "dark and uphill reckoning?"

In our previous recap, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) helped out the scarlet speedster against Brie Larvan (Emily Kinney), the Bug-Eyed Bandit. Barry revealed his suspicions about Wells to Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes). With memories from the alternate timeline, Cisco has been having nightmares, reliving his death at the hands of Harrison Wells.

In our recent recap, Eddie (Rick Cosnett) was framed by the Everyman, who pretended to be him in a police shootout. While the Everyman confused the Flash and kept changing faces, Cisco, Joe (Jesse L. Martin), and Captain Lance (Paul Blackthorne) discovered the rotten corpse of the real Harrison Wells. After capturing Everyman and clearing Eddie from charges, Barry and his friends discovered the secret lair of the Reverse-Flash.

In an interview with Collider, Panabaker reveals the team will have a lot to deal with, "That's the real problem. Wells is so smart and can see many, many steps ahead of them. They're inevitably going to be fighting an uphill battle, as they try to figure out more about Dr. Wells and what his motives are. On top of that, they have to defeat him. The rest of this season is going to be amazing. Obviously, Wells can see them coming, so he tries to throw things in their way and trip them up. It's a pretty wild ride."

The Justified actress teases another appearance by Firestorm (Robbie Amell), "It's great to have Robbie back. He's such a joy to have on set, to begin with. He's so talented. It's really exciting to have him back, and it's going to be really exciting to see what the future is for their characters."

The Flash continues on Tuesdays at 8pm on the CW.
