From Tim Kring (Heroes) and Gideon Raff (Homeland), there are only 2 episodes left from DIG on USA Network. In episode 9, will FBI agent Peter Connelly (Jason Isaacs), detective Golan Cohen (Ori Pfeffer), and Emma Wilson (Alison Sudol) discover 'Jehoshaphat?'
In our previous recap, Debbie (Lauren Ambrose) found herself in the midst of a car crash after Fay (Angela Bettis) cold-heartedly gunned down her boyfriend. Peter and Golan discovered how Emma's death was faked and located her cell where she was kept prisoner. The investigators are just a step behind Ian Margrove (Richard E. Grant) and Rabbi Lev (Shmil Ben Ari) as they are closer to bring about the apocalypse.
In our recent recap, Lynn (Anne Heche) discovered Ambassador Ruth Ridell (Regina Taylor) is part of the conspiracy and ordered the hit on her. While Golan was captured by Levi's men, Emma witnessed Peter getting shot, clinging to his life. After shooting her way through Tad (David Costabile)'s cult compound, Debbie never realized Josh would betray her and slit her throat.
In an interview with Buddy TV, Ambrose discusses her death scene, "I mean that kid was really creepy, right? He doesn't seem to be moved by-- he's a sociopath. I think it's sort of a metaphor for like you can't change people. You can try and you can do what you think is right, but you can't ultimately change people when they're set out on a certain path. I guess he was more fully formed than Debbie realized. If he was a little more childlike perhaps."

The Six Feet Under actress continues, "There was Josh 1, the first Josh, and he gets killed. And this is the Josh who was sort of the back-up, the weird clone child. He hasn't really been raised with-- like the other one, I raised. This one is a mystery to me from day 1. He's not-- he hasn't been raised with her. I think the idea is that Fay raised this one, maybe without the same compassion and loving kindness."
