WE TV Brings New Series 'Cutting It: In the ATL': "Beauty Industry is a Dog Eat Dog World!"

In the words of these lovely ladies, "The beauty industry is a dog eat dog world." The claws are coming out for these four hair designers of Atlanta. In the new WE TV original series premiering Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 10/9c, the Cutting It: In the ATL ladies of the ATL, Beautii, Dedra, Mushiya, and Maja are battling it out for the best hair salon while throwing shade!

In the premiere episode of Cutting It: In the ATL, Maja has a plan to grow her empire with the help of the other ladies in the show. Things will hit the fan when all of the ladies are put into one room together. Though Mushiya can see Maja's vision, others are not ready to go with the flow. Dedra adds heat to the pot when she reveals that she hired LaKenya, a former employee of Beauttii's, to help increase her business flow. In the end, everyone will see how these attitudes, egos, and personalities clash together for better or worse.

Here's a description of each lady!

Beautii, "Countess of Class" and owner of Spoiled Opulence Salon, is one true hardworker. She is at the top of her game after being a homeless single mother at one time. Beautii wants to everyone to know that she treats her clients just like a celebrity!

Dedra, "The Commander-In-Chic" and owner of J'Doah Salon, loves her salon that seems to be smaller and not as established as the other owners Maja, Beautii, and Mushiya. While trying to keep up with the competition, Dedra hires LaKenya, a former employee of Beautii's to get her salon going in the right way. LaKenya hopes to get her own business one day.

Mushiya, "The Natural Boss" and owner of The Damn Salon is number one for the natural ladies of ATL. She will bring a unique look and have eveyone's attention.

Maja, "The Minister of Weaves," changed up ATL with her Walk-In Weave Salons. She makes her money with affordable weaves.
