It's the end of the world as we know it. All Real Housewives of New Jersey fans are letting some tears fall today as it is being reported that the show is close to being canceled by Bravo. That's right, viewers might have seen the last of Melissa Gorga, Teresa Giudice, Jacqueline Laurita and Kathie Wakile as the show's future is currently hanging in the balance. While the show's six season wrapped in the fall of 2014, season seven has yet to start production now that Giudice is behind bars. Could this really be the end of an era?
According to Radar Online, there were some clues that were dropped about the show's status during the NBC Upfronts. Allegedly all of the other housewife franchises were invited to attend the network event, including stars from Atlanta, Beverly Hills, New York and Orange County, however, the Jersey gals was noticeably missing from the list.
"There are cast members from Atlanta, Beverly Hills, New York, and Orange County," an insider explained to the news site, adding, "no one from New Jersey is on the list."

However, the oversight could be the simple fact that the cast for the new season is still yet to be decided upon, after the show pulled in some not so stellar numbers for its past season.
In fact, The Inquistr reported that two of the season six stars, Jim and Amber Marchese were both excluded from the guest list.
"Amber and Jim weren't invited to the NBC upfronts this year," the insider revealed.
It could also be the fact that the show won't be airing this summer as the reason that the ladies weren't extended an invitation, so there still might be hope for all you RHONJ fans out there.
