'Rainbow 6 Siege' 2015 Release Date PS4, Xbox One, PC News: Beta Gameplay Pre-Order

The official release date for one of the most anticipated games of the year has just been announced. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation® 4 and PC on October 13, 2015. A great new announcement trailer revealed this premiere date, with pre-order information that also includes being added to a Beta gameplay wait list. Check out more on this video game news below!

According to Gamma Squad, this new chapter of the Rainbow Six series comes 7 years since the last time we saw a console release, with most of the focus on multiplayer gameplay. Plus, the site points out that there is a voting feature for strategies used in the game for teams.

"Rainbow Six Siege is an exciting, new approach to the first-person shooter experience that puts tactical combat and masterful destruction at the center of the action," Ubisoft says in a description of the game. "Lead your team of unique, counter-terrorist Rainbow operators through tense and thrilling combat scenarios, and achieve victory through smart preparation and strategic improvisation."
