'Vampire Diaries' SPOILERS Season Finale: Nina Dobrev Instagram, Twitter Goodbye & Tribute to Cast

That's a wrap! Nina Dobrev just bowed out of The Vampire Diaries for good earlier this week, and fans have been mourning the loss for much of the weekend. The dramatic Season 6 finale brought with it the dreaded departure of our favorite girl next door turned badass vampire, but it seems like Dobrev has nothing but fond memories of her time on the CW series. The star took to her social media accounts last week during her final episode to give fans a glimpse into what happened on set during those last few days.

According to Gossip Center, the 26-year-old star took to her Twitter account as the finale played out to give her fans one last shot of her squished in-between the Salvatore brothers.

"It's finally that time EAST COAST... The finale begins now. #TVD," the star wrote on the picture of her, Paul Wesley (Stefan Salvator), and her ex-Ian Somerhalder (Damon Salvator). She also gave a shout out to all her fans as she made her exit from the supernatural series.

"And I COULD NOT do it without all of you," she added. "Thank you so much for all the love and positivity from you unbelievably passionate and amazing fans. Your support means more to me than I will ever be able to express with words."

Dobrev also took to her Instagram page to post how the cast and crew said goodbye to her. And it looked delicious.

In the above video, followers see as she gets caked by her Vampire Diaries family.

"6 years of pranks... It was bound to bite me (no pun intended) in the ass eventually," she wrote, adding hashtags, "#caked #lastday #finalescene #TVDTBT."
