The new biopic movie project from director Danny Boyle and writer Aaron Sorkin based on the late Apple founder, Steve Jobs has had us worried for quite some time, but this week we were treated to the first teaser trailer with star Michael Fassbender in the leading role. This is our first official look at the film's footage, after years of actors and directors dropping off of the project. Check out this new preview video to see what's in store for us when this October 9, 2015 release date comes!

Seth Rogen, Jeff Daniels and Kate Winslet also star in this project, which almost didn't happen due to many high-profile names dropping out. Leonardo DiCaprio and Christian Bale were both attached to these films, but left and director David Fincher abandoned the project before Boyle came on board.
From what we can tell from this new teaser trailer released by Collider, though, Fassbender is definitely a great choice for the role. Though it's just a teaser trailer, we get a great sense of the movie's themes, moods and direction. It looks like a dark take on the true story, with elements of ambition and betrayal strewn throughout.
Running just over one minute in length, this new teaser trailer features some great dialogue and imagery that should get you excited for the fall release in theaters. Watch this new teaser preview right here:
