In 2013, a 27-year-old prostitute by the name of Alix Tichelman met up with a Google executive and the night didn't end well for either party. Fast forward to 2015 and Tichelman has plead guilty to involuntary manslaughter after allegedly administering a lethal dose of heroin to Forrest Timothy Hayes. The charges stem from Tichelman refusing to call for help and leaving him to die of an overdose on his own yacht.
According to the police report, she was seen "injecting Hayes with heroin, watching him writhe in pain, stepping over his slowly expiring body, and finishing a glass of wine before calmly walking away." Tichelman is expected to serve three years in prison after agreeing to a plea deal that reduced her manslaughter charge. She's currently being held on more than $1.5 million in bail.
After fleeing from the scene, police had to find a way to lure Tichelman into custody. They did this by posing as a wealthy client in Santa Cruz willing to pay more than $1,000 for sex.

That night wasn't the first time the tech exec had met up with Tischelman. It's said the two had an ongoing prostitute-type relationship. Despite having previous engagements, one of the last moments Tischelman spent with Hayes was drinking a glass of wine before her client went out for good.
Hayes was a high level executive in the tech world. Before making it to Google, he worked with Sun Microsystems and Apple. Todd Zion, one of Google's employees, called Hayes a great boss and never got to "thank him" for his work.
"I was really devastated when I heard about it," Zion said. "He was a great boss. I never had a chance to thank him."
