MStars News has learned that Young and the Restless star Kristoff St. John is suing the hospital that his son Julian St. John was treated in before he committed suicide last year.
According to People, St. John has filed a lawsuit against the mental health facility for negligence and wrongful death. MStars has previously reported that Kristoff's son committed suicide back in November of 2014 following years of ups and downs with schizophrenia.

People claim they obtained court documents that revealed the nurses found Julian face down on the floor of his bathroom with a plastic bag over his head. This wasn't the first time that Julian attempted to kill himself; just three weeks before his death he tried to commit suicide in the same spot, and with a plastic bag over his head.
In the lawsuit, it reveals that the 24-year-old's nurses and a staff member "regularly skipped mandatory check-ins and regularly falsified documents in order to cover up their neglect."
Julian started his treatment at La Casa Mental Health Rehabilitation Center in Long Beach, California, back in September 2014 after being diagnosed with schizophrenia.
Las Casa replied in the following statement below that reads:
"The California Department of Health Care Services reviewed the case and on May 5, 2015, found that La Casa was in compliance with all applicable licensing laws and regulations." The center continued, "Similarly, the Los Angeles Department of Mental Health concluded that Mr. St. John's treatment and care at La Casa was reasonable and in line with clinical procedures, given his mental condition."
He took the road less traveled...like some of us do. But, he bought a helmet and a tiny shopping cart...and that made all the difference. No one travels through life the exact same way. Nor should we. Be your own person. My son Julian was an example of this. #RememberJulian #IStayLookinUp A photo posted by Kristoff St. John (@kristoffstjohn) on Jan 4, 2015 at 1:36pm PST
