DJ Deadmau5 Proposes Kat Von D Over Twitter, She Accepts the Proposal

What a way to propose? Canadian DJ music producer Deadmus5 made a strange marriage proposal to tattoo artist Kat Von D, his on-off girlfriend. And she okayed it via Twitter. This Christmas will be special for both of them.

Deadmau5 shared one of his intimate moments with more than 1.8 milllion followers, as he proposed his girlfriend, and Tweeted, "I can't wait for Christmas so.... Katherine Von Drachenberg, will you marry me?"

Deadmau5 whose real name is Joel Thomas Zimmerman also attached a photo of the engagement ring with the explanation, "Changing the diamond to a black diamond FYI. Sorry for the jpg . . . they'll finish the actual ring soon I hope. I love u :D"

Von D's reply to Deadmau5 was "Mi corazon!!! Thank you all for the lovely congratulations! Please excuse me while I go squeeze the hell out of my fiancé!" she Tweeted.

The musician replied, "Holy f--king s--t. I'm engaged and stuff! Thanks for the well wishes and support from the horde and everyone else! Brb while i spend the rest of my evening with my future wife"

The couple had taken to twitter in November revealing their breakup, but they were dating again in December.

Though this is Deadmau5's first marriage, Von D was previously married to tattoo artist Olivier Peck in 2003. She was also engaged to Jesse James, Sandra Bullock's ex- husband and reality TV personality until they parted ways in 2011.

Von D is also a reality television actor who appeared for the LA Ink show, since 2007.
