The Last Guardian could be the most anticipated video game ever considering how much hype has been surrounding it for the last number of years. According to The Guardian, we could be getting some amazing video gaming news at the Electronic Entertainment Expo this year in the form of updates on The Last Guardian.
"Yes, we know it has been in development hell since 2007, but we have it on very good authority that this will be the year that Team Ico finally presents its follow-up to much loved classics Ico and Shadow of the Colossus," this report claims, according to IGN. "Whether it'll bear any relation to the game last shown at E3 in 2009 is anyone's guess."

Meanwhile, Just Add Water Developments boss Stewart Gilray revealed even bigger news regarding The Last Guardian. While speaking with on the latest episode of the PS Nation podcast, Mark Cerny could be helming the title. Cerny is the architect behind the PS4, making him a pretty interesting choice for heading up this game.
"That certain somebody is the guy who helped out with the architecture of Vita and PS4," Gilray teased, according to IGN. "I'm led to believe his team is now running Last Guardian to finish."
