News and updates regarding Sony's highly anticipated and long-in-the-works ambitious video game The Last Guardian definitely hasn't been great recently. The last we heard of the project was that it could possibly be developed for PlayStation 4, but it has been in development since 2007. This week, according to United States Patent Office, Sony did not renew its trademark on the title of this game, thus seemingly abandoning it. One of the biggest pieces of news coming out of Sony's 2014 PlayStation Experience keynote happened to be what wasn't said during a day of great gaming announcements. We didn't get an update on the ever in-development The Last Guardian.
