Season 3 of the popular reality show, Chrisley Knows Best continues on USA Network. In Episode 6, Chrisleys on Campus, will parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, ready to teach their son, Chase, and daughter, Savannah, about the fundamentals of attending college and getting an education.
Todd and the family are on a road trip to visit Savannah's college campus. Julie hopes the trip will help Chase learn the importance of a college degree. They stop to find a bathroom and get something to eat.
At the cafe, Savannah really hopes her father doesn't embarrass her. When they get back to the car, Todd realizes he doesn't have the keys. Todd wants his mother to drive over and give him the spare keys. Unfortunately, the mother declines and has to make them wait till the morning.
Because he doesn't want to camp out, Julie heads out to a bed and breakfast. The place is overflowing with cat statues, which irritates Todd. The family is freaking out because the room is filled with cats.
Morning has arrived and Todd's mother shows up late in her car. Back on the road, Savannah is so happy to be far from home. At the university, Todd has lots of questions for the tour guides. At the arena, there are more girls than boys, which Chase likes. Chase thinks college will give him the social life he deserves.
When Todd asks about safety, Todd is happy to hear guys cannot enter the girls dorm room. When Todd enters a dorm room, he realizes it's a hole in the wall. Savannah has been invited to a dance, which Todd also wants to attend as well. Todd wants his daughter to take a picture of everyone at the dance and send it to him as a text.
When Savannah steps out, Todd is already making plans to spy on her. At the dane, Savannah is having fun, making friends, and enjoying the music. Todd dresses up in disguise and attends the party.
One of Savannah's new friend spots her father. She pushes him out the door and have a discussion. Her father needs to learn to trust her, Todd understands she's upset but she's in a strange town.
Julie teaches him he ultimately has to let go. For 25 years, he has been a parent, but his job isn't over. Savannah returns and tells her father that she will have a new life. He will try to modify but it is difficult for him.
The father and daughter make up, saying they love each other. The gang gets ready to go back home, but Todd jokes he doesn't have the keys.
Chase has made the decision to go to college, but he wants to move away from home. Savannah has a gift for her family; her acceptance letter to college. Julie hopes her life will be less crazy with them out of the house.
