CD Projekt Red definitely blew us out of the water with their 2015 video game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, so now all we have to do is wait for the highly anticipated new title from the studio, Cyberpunk 2077. We recently learned that the gaming studio wouldn't share any gameplay, release date news or any other details on the title until 2017, which has us wondering why a teaser trailer for this title was released about two years ago, and now we have to keep waiting! Well, during the 2015 E3 Expo, studio co-founder Marcin Iwinski opened up about this decision and explained more about the game. Read more on this news below!

IGN spoke with Iwinski this week at the gaming event, bringing up the question of why CD Projekt Red teased us with a trailer and basically stepped away completely in regards to this game.
"We released the Cyberpunk teaser trailer because we wanted to see how gamers felt about it," he explained. "We were super excited about the project internally, but what if it wasn't the right thing [for us]? But the response has been incredible. Now it's just up to us to deliver. We're hard at work on it."
That makes sense, right? The studio is just full of gaming fans, so they got excited and wanted to share the project with everyone. Now they just want to make sure they get Cyberpunk 2077 perfect for us!
"You can craft swords for 12 years, but you might get burnt out. People might want to leave and go work on something else," Iwinski said about the gameplay. "We're excited to switch to guns. We intended to keep [the team] energized with Cyberpunk. The core team is working The Witcher 3's expansions, but more and more people are moving over onto Cyberpunk."
