The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is easily one of the most anticipated video games of 2015, so we understand why Polish development studio CD Projekt Red has put it's sci-fi RPG title, Cyberpunk 2077, on hold. The company says that all focus is now on The Witcher 3, meaning we'll have to wait quite some time for the other project - but this isn't exactly bad news. Keep reading to find out why.

"In short, communication-wise, we are now focusing entirely on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," Michal Platkow-Gilewski, head of marketing and PR, said this week, according to IGN. "Everyone is working crazy hard to give gamers around the world an RPG to remember. Worry not, Cyberpunk 2077 is OK, its time will come."
So there seems to be no reason to worry about the game, other than that it won't be announced for quite some time. Plus, we know that the multiple delays on Wild Hunt haven't really affected the sci-fi title, but that's just because two separate teams are working on the games.
"Cyberpunk 2077 is developed by a separate team within CD Projekt Red, so the development of Cyberpunk 2077 is not really affected," CD Projekt Red told Gamespot earlier last year.
So with more time spent on The Witcher 3, we're going to get one of the best games of the last few years out of the developers. That said, the studio will then have all focus on Cyberpunk 2077 once Wild Hunt is totally completed. That makes sense, right?
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has a release date set for May 19.
