The Walking Dead creator and the film's producer, Robert Kirkman, and Skybound Entertainment. are offering a select few the red carpet treatment. Get your tickets and check out the AIR movie premiere starring Norman Reedus and Djimon Hounsou at the 2015 San Diego Comic Con.
As we previously mentioned, during the 2014 San Diego Comic Con, Skybound Entertainment released the trailer to the sci-fi thriller at their panel. Kirkman produced the directorial debut of Christian Cantamessa. The flick presents The Walking Dead actor, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and Sandrine Holt (House of Cards) in the distant future, where the planet's air toxic and its surface have become uninhabitable.
In the plot synopsis, Reedus and Hounsou play two maintenance workers charged with ensuring that one of the underground facilities doesn't fall apart before the world is ready to live in again. Every six months, the two men wake up for a 120-minute shift to do their work. But one day, the sleeping tank for one of the two men breaks.
According to the official site, Scion Audio Visual, in partnership with Skybound Entertainment, is giving fans an opportunity to walk the red carpet on Friday, July 10, 2015, at the San Diego screening of AIR. Eight lucky winners and their guests will be invited to the screening on July 10th at The UA Horton Plaza and Skybound's 5th anniversary party, which follows after the screening.

As we perviously mentioned, a downloadable videogame is in the works. This will be released episodically sometime this year on Steam, tablets and other potential consoles. The story will focus on the inhabitants of another underground bunker. No voice actors have been announced for the game yet.
Canatamessa explained the gameplay, "The game will have a more modern interpretation of the story-driven adventure game that has an element of puzzle solving and exploration. And the game is introducing to that, an element of investigation and a mystery that needs to be solved that plays with the unfolding events. You'll need to use the various items and hints and clues you find."
AIR will hit theaters on August 14.
