Just days before a new year will begin, Eddie Murphy is victimized in another death hoax online. Clearly, Murphy is alive and well and just "dead" online according to an unreliable entertainment website that has created false stories about celebrity deaths. The website has even noted on the bottom of their article: "FAKE... THIS STORY IS 100% FAKE! this is an entertainment website, and this is a totally fake article based on zero truth and is a complete work of fiction for entertainment purposes!"

Many people do not end up reading that part of the story and spread the "news" that Eddie Murphy has died.

Twitter and Facebook users continue to push the story forward as they question whether the story is true or not.

"Eddie Murphy died...? WHAT IS THE WORLD COMING TO.?!?!?!"
