Who said that crime doesn't pay? It seems that for Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice it definitely does. The star and her family might be going through some tough financial times while Teresa serves her 15-month sentence in a Danbury, Connecticut federal prison, but when she comes out, it is being reported that she will be rolling in the dough. Season seven of RHONJ has yet to begin filming, but rumors are saying that Teresa will be joining the cast and that her involvement won't come cheap. Speculation is saying that she will be making $2 million should she agree to be part of the new season.
While the news might be music to Teresa and her family's ears, as they have been going through a financial crisis, it seems that the rest of the cast is unhappy over the Giudice's new salary, according to Radar Online.

"[The cast is] absolutely disgusted that Teresa is going to be paid $2 million to return to the show after being released from prison," the insider explained to the news site. 'The other ladies haven't been signed their contracts to return, and this convicted felon is having the red carpet rolled out for her. Teresa's contract has been finalized and Bravo is ready to focus the entire season on her return."
The only stipulation to the plan is that Giudice's probation officer needs to sign off on the contract before Teresa can appear on TV again.
The news couldn't come at a better time as Page Six reported that Joe has found it difficult to make ends meet while his wife is away. However, he just secured a spinoff deal that will see him getting paid $150,000 for a one-hour special.
We can only hope that we will be seeing more Teresa moments like this one when the new seaosn returns.
