Jimmy Fallon Tweets Details About Injury, Hospitalization: Almost Lost Finger?

If you haven't heard the news swirling around the late night landscape, Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon recently landed himself in the hospital following a night of partying in New York City when he was badly injured. Not much seemed to be known about the incident, other than it happened after he snapped some selfies with fans, but it seems now Fallon has taken to Twitter to (kind of) explain what went down.

And from the tweets, it appears he has one main thing he's thankful for: drugs.

Just a couple of days ago, Fallon tweeted that following the hospital visit he was forced to tweet "with one hand," per one of his messages:

Afterwards, the comedian explained that he almost ripped his finger off by tripping and having his ring catch the side of a table. So, apparently marriage can kill you?

Of course, even despite the incident, Fallon couldn't help but add a little bit of humor to the situation, noting that he's forever blessed because of the drugs:
