Is Teresa Giudice about to be a free woman? The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has been behind bars since the beginning of the year, but from what it sounds like the Bravo starlet is trying everything in her power to get out of the Danbury, Connecticut prison earlier then expected. While she was sentence to 15 months in prison, it is being reported that she could get out as early as December of this year, just in time to spend the holidays with her family. However, Giudice is hoping to get out even sooner than that with a possible summer furlough date being brought up by the starlet.
The reality star is asking that the facility grant her a weekend pass to get out of the facility and spend time with her ailing parents. According to Radar Online, Teresa has even inquired with her lawyer on how to go about getting a "get out of jail pass" for a couple of days.
"Teresa asked her lawyer to try and get her a weekend furlough that would allow her to leave the prison to visit her parents, Antonia and Giacinto," the insider explained to the news site. "Giacinto is in poor health, and Teresa just wanted to spend time with them."
Extra TV also reported on Teresa's vacation from the pen, saying that once Teresa found out that she would need to prove her parents ailing health to the courts that she dropped her pleas.
"However, Teresa was told there would need to be documentation from her father's doctor outlining his current health condition," the insider explained. "Nothing has changed since she went to prison. She was advised to not pursue the furlough."
As of now, Extra is saying that Giudice will get out of the big house on Dec. 23, 2015.
