Since the big 20/20 interview all eyes have been on Caitlyn Jenner. After her transition from Bruce to woman was complete the world finally got to see who she has been all this time. With Jenner free to be herself, what better holiday is there for her to celebrate than America's Independence Day? This is why when the 4th of July rolled around she sent out a special message to everyone.
You can check out Jenner's message on freedom and patriotism right here.
"Free to be me", the caption read under the photo:
Happy 4th of July! Proud to be an American ... where at least I am free to be me.

Also celebrating Jenner's newfound freedom is ESPN. The sports network says they'll be presenting Jenner with the Arthur Ashe Courage award. ESPN recognizes that Jenner was once a great Olympian and now she is a hero to the LGBT community. They say she has "shown the courage to embrace a truth that had been hidden for years."
"Bruce [Jenner] has received many accolades over the years for being one of the greatest Olympians of our time, but The ESPYS are honored to celebrate Bruce becoming Caitlyn," ESPN producer Maura Mandt stated. "She has shown the courage to embrace a truth that had been hidden for years, and to embark on a journey that may not only give comfort to those facing similar circumstances, but can also help to educate people on the challenges that the transgender community faces."
Jenner has been celebrating the new freedoms of the Trans and gay community ever since coming out. Back on June 28, she was in New York City for the Gay Pride Parade and Pride Week.
This year was a special coming out party because the Supreme Court voted that gay marriage is now legal in the U.S. and the Stonewall Inn is now an official landmark in NYC.
