When it comes to her husband, former Saved by the Bell star Lark Voorhies claims that she and alleged gang member Jimmy Green are "selectively together for all the right reasons."

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the couple sat down to open up about their controversial relationship and the restraining order Lark's mother took out on her new son-in-law.

"The support was there," Lark believes when asked how her mother took the news that she had gotten married in Vegas. She added, "It's all celebratory though ... it's a very strong, powerful, on-going ... and we carried that through and actually in all success."

Lark's interview seemed to be all over the place while talking to Kevin Frazier. When Frazier warned Lark that her mother seemed concerned for her daughter, Lark asked him, "Did she call you?"

Frazier admitted, "Yeah, and she said that she's concerned that Jimmy is taking advantage of you."

The actress responded, "No, he's not, we're selectively together for all the right reasons."

Lark's mother revealed that she was diagnosed as bipolar. Her mother Patricia claimed that Lark lived with her because she was "psychologically, mentally and emotionally fragile."

But if you ask Lark, she has a different story. "I've always been mentally healthy, 100 percent stable." Frazier tries to refresh her mind on some issues in the past that had people wondering was she mentally ill.

"Your mom has said that you've been off your medication, and there may have been issues, and that's where she's concerned," he noted.

Lark's excuse for those moments was, "I had a sweep with textbook clinical depression in remove of my first marriage, but that is basically all it's been."

As of right now, Lark is still living with her mother who also filed a restraining order against Jimmy Green, as he tries to clear his record in regards to his past behavior. When asked if he was aggressive towards his mother-in-law, Green said, "Not enough to get an restraining order." He adds, "I was just aggressive in being blunt and demanding."

"I just want people to understand that we're the same couple out there that's in love trying to accomplish business together." Green said to Frazier, making clear that their marriage wasn't a "scam or a way to get money."

As for the future, Lark is working on becoming a singer with the help of her husband, and they are producing an album together.
