The July 15, 2015 edition of NXT will air at 8 p.m. Eastern and will feature an NXT Women's Championship match between Sasha Banks and Charlotte.
The show will air on the WWE Network, but if you can't watch there, then you can try here or here, both of which broadcast free live streams of the show (this may require downloading a torrent).
This should be an epic match, and an extra layer has been added to it after what happened on Monday Night Raw this week. Nikki Bella came out with Brie Bella and talked about her 232-day reign as Divas Champion. She said The Bellas rule the Divas division. Stephanie McMahon then came out and pointed out that she owns WWE, so the legacy of the company, which includes the Divas division, is in her hands. She said the division has not had enough true competition for a while, so it was time to fix that.
Stephanie brought out Paige, who had been trying to make change happen. Nikki complained about this, but Stephanie explained that she wanted Paige out in the ring. Steph pointed out that Paige had not had any reinforcements until now. She introduced Becky Lynch and Charlotte! The three women hug, but Tamina Snuka and Naomi interrupted them. But Stephanie evened the playing field when she brought out NXT Women's Champion Sasha Banks! The crowd was loudly chanting "This is awesome!" and a fight broke out among the nine women. Charlotte, Sasha, and Becky each locked in their submission holds. They tossed out The Bella Twins and a stare down closed out the segment.
This was a pivotal moment for women's wrestling in WWE, but what happens to NXT now? If Sasha, Charlotte, and Becky are up on the main roster permanently (or at least primarily), then what happens to the women's division down in the developmental brand? It seems likely that Sasha will retain the belt tonight, but we'll have to wait and see what happens between the two rivals.
Finn Balor will give Kevin Owens an NXT Championship rematch at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Saturday, Aug. 22, the day before SummerSlam. So it looks like not much will happen tonight in that regard.
We also know that Sami Zayn plans to update all of us on his rehab, but the signs seem to indicate that he won't be able to step into the ring for the rest of this calendar year.
The Vaudevillains are the No. 1 Contenders to the NXT Tag Team Championship, so when will they get their shot at Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy? Will the two teams interact at all tonight? And what about Enzo Amore and Big Cass?
Samoa Joe and Rhyno are still floating around, as is Tyler Breeze. Bull Dempsey wants more Doritos, and Eva Marie continues to lobby for a chance to prove herself.
As always, check back with MStars immediately after the show for a full recap of all the action. But for now, let us know your thoughts, opinions, guesses, and predictions for tonight'sepisode in the comments section.
