As MStars News reported, drama on the show exploded when Maci almost quit after learning that the Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom star was asked to return to the series after at first being fired. She explained it all had to do with protecting her son Bentley.
"My feelings have nothing to do with Farrah personally. It's not about her, it's more or less that I don't find it appropriate for my six-year-old son - who has to wake up and go to kindergarten the day after the show airs - to be on a show where they are at strip clubs or talking about porn," Maci told Cosmopolitan. "It's not about porn: If you want to do porn, go for it, I'm not going to judge you. It's based on the type of person you are, not what you decide to do as a career. But do I want my six-year-old son involved? No, I don't. You could be my best friend and be a porn star and I'm still not going to have my son involved in what you do."
