WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins defends his title against Brock Lesnar at the Battleground pay-per-view on Sunday.
But before that, Rollins spoke to The Buzz with Jimmy Traina about multiple topics, including his opponent this Sunday. Here are some highlights:
His thoughts on Brock Lesnar: "He's a one-of-a-kind personality. A one-of-a-kind character and a one-of-a-kind athlete. They don't come along like him very often."
When did WWE fill him in that he would win the title at WrestleMania: "It was during the middle of the show."
Why is the Curb Stomp banned: "It was a decision that was collectively made from a PR standpoint. Curb stomp just seemed like it was too perceptually violent, I guess you would say. I never hurt anyone with it. It was just something we didn't want kids trying on each other."
His thoughts on John Cena: "John's his own unique thing. He's his own entity at this point and has been for a couple years. There's really nobody who's been able to reach that echelon that he has maintained for the past five, six, seven, eight years. He's just having fun. I think it's interesting the amount of hate he gets. He enjoys it and takes it in stride. I think if half those people understood how hard John worked and has worked to keep the company where it is, they might appreciate them a little bit more. When he retires, people think they're going to be thankful for that. They talk about, you know, 'I can wait until that day.' But you don't understand. I don't think people see the behind-the-scenes work and how much effort and time John put into everything that is WWE to make it how great and special it is for our fans. John's a one-of-a-kind performer; he is the archetype that we all strive to be as WWE performers."
