Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom aren't the only ones that have taken a long time to put the pen to paper after filing for divorce. While it took them a year and a half after separating to move on to the next step, Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas are giving the Keeping Up with the Kardashians couple a run for their money. It has just been revealed that Mel and Ant have finally agreed to move on with their lives, separate from each other, after they split last June. The two were married for 20 years before deciding to throw in the towel.
According to TMZ, both actors have signed on the dotted line, as the site reported that they obtained the court documents on July 21 with both signatures on the piece of paper. A judge has yet to sign off on the divorce, but it is expected that he will do so in the next couple of days.
At the time of their split, the couple released a statement to Us Weekly, saying, "We have thoughtfully and consensually decided to finalize our almost 20-year marriage in a loving and friendly manner, honoring and respecting each other, our family and friends, and the beautiful time we have spent together."
The site is also reporting that at the time of the split that there was no hard feeling, mentioning it was "amicable."
"There was no cheating on either side," the insider explained, adding, that Melanie and Antonio had just "fallen out of love a while ago."
And it seems like they have kept the peace as just five weeks ago Melanie posted a picture with Banderas to her Instagram account.
