Candidate Lindsey Graham Destroys Old Cell Phone, Gets iPhone Thanks To Donald Trump

Republican Presidential candidate Senator Lindsey Graham has had to upgrade to an iPhone, all thanks to his Republican Presidential candidate opponent, Donald Trump. During a speech last week, Trump told everyone Graham's cell phone number in retaliation for Graham calling Trump a "jackass." Graham had called Trump a "jackass" because Trump had said that Senator John McCain should not be considered a war hero because he had been captured during the Vietnam War.

Apparently, politics are now more spiteful than high school.

"Donald Trump has done something my staff could never get me to do and that's get a new phone. So, thanks, Donald," Graham said in an interview with ABC on Sunday.

Graham went from a trusty flip phone to an iPhone. However, even with the new technology, Graham may still not use email. He's said that he never sent an email and still doesn't particularly intend to do so.

Graham also took the time to make more comments against Trump. Graham and Trump are two of 16 Republicans currently running for president. The first Republican debate is coming up on August 6, held by Fox News. However, Fox is limiting the number of candidates who can appear at the debate to just ten, determined by popularity in several national polls and candidates seem to be willing to do whatever it takes to be in that top 10 list of Republican Presidential candidates.

"I'm not taking on voters, I am taking on an idea that I think he's appealing to the dark side of American politics," Graham said about Trump. "He is not offering solutions to hard, complicated problems. He is basically selling fear and prejudice."

According to Graham, Trump is essentially saying crazy things to make everyone listen to him. Judging by the attention Trump's been getting in the media for his statements in recent weeks, it appears to be working.

Graham showed off his sense of humor about the entire situation and made an instructional video teaching the various ways in which one could destroy an old cell phone. The video includes chopping, blending and burning an old cell phone. What is your favorite cell phone destruction method?
