'Fantastic 4' 2015 Reboot Reviews are Mostly Negative - Twitter & Critics' Quotes

Director Josh Trank most likely understood the immense undertaking of rebooting the Marvel Comics film adaptation of Fantastic Four. 20^th Century Fox cast promising leads in Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, Jamie Bell, Toby Kebbell, and more, but was that enough for a blockbuster hit? According to some early reviews around the Internet and (mostly) on Twitter, the movie falls short of expectations. We've seen mostly negative reviews so far and compiled a selection below. "If anything, Fantastic Four is an example of what happens when a director and studio are clearly not working in sync," reports The Playlist in its early review of the film. "Often out of alignment, and missing a clear creative guiding vision, Fantastic Four is not ready for the multiplex battle ahead."

That's not even the worst review we've heard! The Hollywood Reporter said the movie "feels like a 100-minute trailer for a movie that never happens."

Generally though, reviews are harsh about its ending and the direction of Trank, but there's plenty of praise for the cast.
