Giuliana Rancic Leaves E! News With Warm Instagram Goodbye From Husband Bill

Giuliana Rancic has said goodbye to E! News after hosting the entertainment show for 14 years. Rancic's exit was bittersweet on Monday, Aug. 10, as the host gave an emotional sign off, and her husband, Bill Rancic added to the flow of tears with a sweet message to his wife.

In an open letter, Bill reflected on Giuliana's first day at work, how they met, and why he was so proud of the women she has become while working, and enduring other personal issues at home. Bill claimed that a lot of people don't give his wife credit for the job she has accomplished.

The letter, provided by Yahoo read: "She went in that Monday, also requested the role of managing editor and changed everything. 'We are going to make this show younger and hip. We are going to cover the likes of Paris Hilton and you watch, the ratings are going to soar,' she told them." Bill added, "She walked out of his office and looked at the network head and said, 'The numbers are going to go up, you just watch.'"

He continued, "People don't give Giuliana enough credit, she's got a master's degree in journalism, she's brilliant and just gets it. The rest is history. From that point on, she took control and turned things around. That's what the greats do. They don't hesitate, they just know, it's incredible. I guess by now you all know, E! News lasted a bit longer than two weeks."

Her husband also talked about how his wife handled herself very well during red carpet interviews.

"The way you are on that red carpet, asking questions that everyone wants to ask. Handling the pressure. People don't realize how good you are until they watch someone else try and replicate what you've done," Bill wote. "The talent, the professionalism, and you're doing it live. I'm biased, but to be honest, there's nobody better than you."

Us Magazine reported that Rancic isn't completely done with TV. She will be still working at E! Fashion Police, and is also the star of the hit show, Giuliana & Bill, where she and her husband share their life experiences along with their son, Edward Duke Rancic. During her final segment, Giuliana shared a warm embraced hug from her husband, whose supported her for eight years throughout their marriage.

Giuliana captioned the bittersweet snapshot: "And on this note...it's a wrap. Fourteen years of memories at one show. Fifty more years of memories to be made with my soulmate. Let's do this @billrancic!!!!!"

She also posted a photo of her E! News team and wrote: "What an honor to work with the most incredible gang in the business. I love each and every one of you @enews and thank you for 14 years of love and laughs!!! Thank you for tonight's beautiful send off. I[heart]U! #secondfamily
