'Prison Break' Revival: Will Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Sarah Wayne Callies "Reunite?"

Because nostalgia goes a long way with audiences, Fox officially planning the revival of their popular crime drama, Prison Break. In Season 5, Will Wentworth Miller (Michael Scofield), Dominic Purcell (Lincoln Burrows), reunite with Sarah Wayne Callies (Sara Tancredi) in the 10 episode run?

As we previously mentioned, Fox is currently developing a limited-series revival of its drama series. In the ten episode arc, Miller and Purcell reprise once more as their sibling characters. Described as a "the perfect event series" by Fox co-chairman Gary Newman promised this will be a closed-ended storyline. Details were first sketchy because Michael passed away in the series finale, but it seems like that ending will be tossed away. Robert Knepper also reprised his role as T-Bag in an episode of Breakout Kings.

We also mentioned, though she's working on The Colony for USA Network, Callies will reprise her role if former Prison Break executive producer, Dawn Parouse Olmstead, gives her the okay, "If there's anybody who has incentive to let me sneak off of set for a little bit and cross over to another lot. it would be Dawn."

According to TV Line, The Walking Dead actress revealed during the Television Critics Association press tour, "No one's asked me yet, so I don't know. If we can find a way to honor [Sara and Michael] by telling a beautiful continuing story - and my bosses [on Colony] let me do another show - I would love to. There is such a long list of things that are out of my hands, but my heart is very, very excited about it."

Callies continues, "Prison Break was extraordinary. The single most amazing thing that has probably ever happened to me, or ever will, in my career, is the fans kicking up such a fuss during Season 3 [that] they had to bring me back in Season 4. That's unprecedented."

In an interview with E! Online, Purcell reveals the revival was a long time ago, ""It's very exciting. It's been in the works for a while now. Wentworth and I were aware of it about three months ago, or actually way before that. And we're just stoked. We're very, very happy to come back. I know the fans have been wanting that and we have too."

The Prison Break revival will premiere on Fox in 2016.
