Vicki Gunvalson, Brooks Ayers of 'Real Housewives of Orange County' Break Up Again

Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers might have one of the most tumultuous relationships in Real Housewives history, but they have officially decided to break up for the second time. The couple has been through more than most couples go through in a lifetime, and the Real Housewives of Orange County has captured most of it for the public to see. Season 10, which is currently in the middle of airing on Bravo, shows Vicki and Brooks' relationship as he continues to struggle with his cancer diagnosis and treatment.

The couple's split announcement came earlier today when Vicki reached out to the public in a statement via her Facebook page.

"After much prayer, thought, counseling, and consideration, we have decided to end our four year relationship," the couple explained in the statement. "We both wish nothing but a great future for each other. We have come to realize that one can indeed love someone in their heart, but that the time may come for their lives to take separate paths."

The couple also mentioned that while the Bravo series that they are currently starring on together will show them as a couple that it has all been prerecorded.

"Though the remaining episodes of Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Orange County will show us as a couple, the filming took place in January 2015 through May 2015," Vicki explained. "There will be no further statements or interviews regarding our relationship as we choose to move on with our lives. Though we choose to live our lives in the public eye, we thank you for your understanding and ask privacy during this difficult time."

According to Us Weekly, this isn't the first time that the couple has called it quits, as the site is reporting that they broke up in 2013. However, they got back together when Brooks was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer in 2014.

No word yet from the starlets daughter Briana Culberson who was very vocal about her dislike for Brooks, according to People.
