Rihanna, Matt Barnes Dating Rumors: BFF Leandra Simome Slams Memphis Grizzlies "Stranger"

Matt Barnes may have been dreaming when he hinted that he was possibly dating Rihanna in the future. MStars News previously reported that the pop star slammed those rumors quickly, even claiming that she'd never met the Memphis Grizzlies baller, and now her friend Leandra Simome is backing up her BFF100% on this outrageous story, calling the NBA star a "stranger."

In the clip below, Barnes was asked about his relationship status with Rihanna in which he seemed very confident, claiming that they were friends, but it could possibly be something more in the future.

Barnes replied to the TMZ cameraman and said: "Rihanna's my friend right now so we will see where it goes." As for their friendship blossoming into a relationship, Barnes said, "yeah, possibly. I think it's just the past crush stage, a little bit." Barnes, who just moved to Memphis to play basketball, claimed that their relationship would be fine because she's "rich."

Well, at least everyone got a laugh this morning! Clearly Barnes may have lost his mind because, in Rihanna's eyes, she's possibly thinking about that "defamation" lawsuit as she captioned a snapshot of the Barnes interview and wrote, "#bishwhere #thedevilisaliar #shesnotthatintoyou #shesnotintoyouatall #shesneverevenmetyou #thisactuallyhurtmyfeelings #defamationofcharacter "

Ri-Ri's pal, Leandra also checked Barnes and wrote, "God Bless u!!! send me ur address so I can call the cops.. I'm scared." She continued, "To early for this!!! God bless this strangers soul!!! I hope this is a fake profile," hashtagging the comment, "strangerdanger."

Barnes replied with a seemingly hostile, "I see you like playin games & being messy.. Will see who gets the last laugh ma."
