With the September release date just a month away, EA Sports has released a new gameplay trailer, entitled Be A Pro, for their upcoming NHL 16. Though the game was hit by Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane cover controversy, this new mode promises to help you earn experience points.
As we previously mentioned, Chicago Blackhawks fowards Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane landed on the cover of the NHL videogame. Appearing side by side, Toews and Kane were seen hoisting the prestigious Stanley Cup. A first for EA's long-running hockey franchise, we had a duo, teammates in fact, holding the Stanley Cup on the cover.
We also mentioned, though this was a huge achievement, hard times unexpectedly fell. Kane has been kicked off the monumental cover. Electonic Arts has stated the removal was made because of an ongoing investigation, in which Kane was recently accused of sexually assaulting a woman in New York. EA then tweeted a picture of the updated cover, which will just feature Toews by himself.
According to Polygon, the gamming series' has brought back the Be a Pro mode in full force. The game will also come along with a revamped player progression system. Gamers will also have the in-game coach feedback system, which will provide you information about the positive and negative aspects of your game, plus how to get better.
As the official EA Sports site states, "To help you perfect your skills, we've introduced all-new Visual On-Ice Training. Visual aids project shooting targets, passing lanes, open teammates and much more. Whether you're new to the NHL series or a grizzled vet of the game, this adaptive training tool will help players of every skill level."
