Joseph Gordon-Levitt Welcomes Baby Boy with Wife Tasha McCauley

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is officially a father, as him and his wife Tasha McCauley welcomed a baby boy this past weekend. A rep confirmed the news of the birth with GossipCop this week, with the couple’s son having officially been born on Aug. 15. They also revealed that the married couple was “doing well” since the birth, but have yet to share any intimate details on their new bundle of joy. This is the first child for Gordon-Levitt and McCauley.

Another source told Us Weekly that “everyone’s happy and healthy” following the birth.

The couple has been keeping their relationship private for some years, as the two quietly walked down the aisle and secretly exchanged vows on Dec. 20, 2014. The two tied the knot at their shared home, which is when McCauley was reportedly in the first trimester of her pregnancy at the time.

During an interview in 2013, the same year that the duo met through some mutual friends, the actor raved about how McCauley, who was just his girlfriend at the time, was not part of the entertainment industry that he is involved in, and completely removed from Hollywood.

“The girl that I’m with, she really doesn’t want to be a part of that,” he revealed about his leading lady.

Her occupation is being the CEO and founder of Fellow Robots, which is a robotics company at the NASA Research Park in Silicon Valley. Sources even revealed, "She's very intellectual and a creator, which he finds very attractive. It's a really healthy and normal relationship." They also added, “You can tell he adores her. She's beautiful and smart. Really one of those full package girls.”

Hopefully the couple will reveal some details surrounding their new bundle of joy in the near future. In the meantime, congratulations to the happy couple.
