Fans have been patiently waiting for some Dancing With the Stars news now that the news season is roughly a month away. However, while the biggest news will be coming in two weeks when the cast is announced live on Good Morning America, there is some news revolving around the judges of the show. While it was highly speculated that Len Goodman would not be retuning to sit on the panel with Julianne Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli, the news has just been confirmed that Goodman is out as a judge. The star has sat on the DWTS panel for the last 20 seasons and has announced that he isn't coming back to the series for the fall.
According to Us Weekly, the dancing veteran and London native has revealed that he will be focusing his sole energies on the UK version of the series, Strictly Come Dancing. He has been pulling double duty for the last couple of years flying back and forth between London and L.A. to film both series.
Seriously how great are our judges? Love them! #DWTSFinale

Rob Wade, DWTS executive producer, released a statement via CNN about Len's departure saying, "Len will not be returning as a judge this season on Dancing With the Stars due to his schedule as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing in the UK and the birth of his new grandson."
However, while it was previously speculated that this departure would mean that Len would be done with DWTS for good, Wade explains that they are hoping that he will come back every now and then.
"He still might be involved in the season at some capacity, but we will have to wait and see," he revealed. "We are planning on having great guest judges for some shows to join Bruno, Carrie Ann, and Julianne, and I'm sure we will see Len in the ballroom again soon."
