Before its the official October premiere date, CBS has made a new casting announcement for the DC Comics superheroine Supergirl. In the upcoming Episode 4, is Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist) ready to swoop in and save Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart)'s son, Carter Grant (Levi Miller)?
As we previously mentioned, the CBS superhero drama will follow the comic book adventures of Kara Zor-El (Benoist). Born on the planet Krypton, Kara Zor-El escaped before its destruction. While living on Earth, Kara has been hiding the powers she shares with her famous cousin. But now at the tender age of 24, she decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and become the hero she was always meant to be.
According to TV Line, the Pan actor will play the DC Comics villain. Miller will make his debut on TV show in the fourth episode 4. Based o the official character description, the 12-year-old is "sensitive and shy" and "couldn't be more different from his mom."
In the storyline, Kara (Benoist) babysits her boss's son, which isn't part of her job. As Kara gets to know Carter (Miller) better, he "finally opens up to her - revealing his true feelings for Supergirl."
Executive producer Greg Berlanti mentions to the site, "We loved working with him so much on Pan, we were excited to bring him into Supergirl's universe. He's an exceptional young actor and a part of the Berlanti Productions family. It will be fun for audiences, who we know will fall in love with him as Peter in Pan on Oct 9, to see his range with his turn as Calista Flockhart's American son."
In the comics, Adam Morgan the name of Grant's son. The super villain, Toyman, is involved in the death of her son. Will the show go dark like the comics?
