Friends alum Courteney Cox admits to having had Botox plenty of times but most certainly won't go "under the knife." Recently she was seen at a premiere for Hand of God, a new drama series for Amazon and rumors started to circulate that the actress had had some plastic surgery work done. Cox, 51, was described by the Daily Mail as having, "puffier cheeks and her eyes looked smaller than usual, making it appear as if she had some work done to her face." After viewing even photos from earlier in the summer for comparison, Cox's beautiful wide blue eyes do look squintier and there is a very noticeable difference in the plumpness of her face. However, the actress persists with saying that she wouldn't actually have any type of surgery and that ever since getting engaged to Snow Patrol band member, Johnny McDaid (39), she feels even less pressure to do so. "Johnny isn't into that whole Hollywood look anyway, so I don't feel pressure to keep looking like a 20-year-old for him," Hollywood Life says.
This all gets a little confusing because in 2013, Cox admitted to having trouble and "a hard time coming to grips with being in her fifties and [has been] extremely open about her desire to stay youthful looking," Us Weekly says. Cox has gone into detail into what specific procedures she wouldn't mind having or had had done already. "You know what, I'm game for anything. I'm very open to trying to prolong the inevitable. I'm a big laser believer - I really think they are the wave of the future. I just did Ulthera, which is supposed to produce collagen, and I'm about to do Fraxel, which will get rid of all these brown spots off my arms, chest and face," Hollywood Life reports. Cox has opened up further that she does fear getting old and having to wake up and notice that something is different about her appearance. Daily Mail reports, "Keeping her appearance attractive is important to Cox, who said her mother was very into looking her best. 'Beauty has always been a big part of my childhood and my life. My mother is a very beautiful woman - she wasn't a career woman, she's a mother of four - and looks were really important to her.'"
Cox also mentioned that her and Johnny are still in the "planning" stage of their wedding and they aren't in any rush, but that they would like Coco to be a bridesmaid. There were even rumors that the Cougartown actress's daughter would want to sing as well.
