'From Dusk Till Dawn' Season 2 Recap: Wilmer Valderrama, Zane Holtz's Episode 1 Premiere!

Based on the cult classic from Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez, El Rey Network premieres Season 2 of From Dusk Till Dawn. In Episode 1, Seth (D.J. Cotrona), Richie (Zane Holtz) Gecko, and Carlos Madrigal (Wilmer Valderrama) are up against a new and deadly vampire threat.

We find Santanico (Eiza González) working at a meat factory with the other illegal immigrants. The manager has eyes on Santanico and takes her to the back room, where Richie is waiting for her. With a gun pointed to the manger's head, Richie heads towards to the parking lot, where the truck is waiting for them.

Unfortunately this is an ambush as a bulked up vampire grabs hold of Richie and Santanico, knocking them both out. In the flashback, Richie and Santanico are in the middle of their lovemaking, before they start biting each other. The two are planning to rob a front which belongs to her former master,  Lord Amancio Malvado (Esai Morales).

Elsewhere, back at the Titty Twister, Scott Fuller (Brandon Soo Hoo) is being held captive when Malvado shows up. Malvado is so mad that Santanico is gone, that he rips a man's face off. Kate Fuller (Madison Davenport) and Seth are hiding from the police at a run-down hotel. 

At the hotel, Kate manages to keep the night manager away as he continues to flirt with her. Seth isn't doing so well, having become hooked on drugs after becoming bitten. Low on money, Kate wants to return to Texas though to find her missing brother. 

While Richie is forming a new gang, Kate runs off to a local shop. On their stakeout, Richie gives Santico jewelry, which she seems reluctant to take. At the shop, Kate manages to discover more about Santanico's past history, but she doesn't think of her as a goddess. Kate wants to find her brother before he starts feeding on innocent civilians. 

After Seth wakes up, he heads out to a tattoo shop run by Sonja (Briana Evian). After finishing his tattoo, Sonja reveals she has heard stories of the Gecko brothers; is Richie really that crazy? Seth asks Sonja to make fake passports for him and Kate.

Back at the hotel, Seth finally deals with the night manager, who is really a vampire. The night manager and the rest of his clan have been searching for Kate, wanting to feed on her. After getting into a fight, Seth kills the night manger and turns him to dust. Knowing she's special, Seth keeps that secret to himself and lies to Kate. 

Back to the present, Santanico and Richie finally wake up but in pain. The two manage to take down the goons and the bulked up vampire. After stealing the money, Richie is caught by surprise when his own henchmen betray him. 

After biting his former henchmen, Santanico realizes the world needs to think the Gecko brothers are dead. Richie fakes his death as he drives a car over the cliff. The explosion causes Ranger Freddie Gonzalez (Jesse Garcia) to wake up from a nightmare. 

Freddie takes a look at the burnt bodies and lies about the Geckos being dead. As Freddie realizes that this is just the beginning, Carlos is still fighting to escape from the labyrinth. Santantico gives an air lap-dance in front of a mirror while remembering how Malvado taught her how to strip with a snake on her.

Knowing he wants Santanico back at any cost, Malvado wakes up The Regulator (Danny Trejo) from his deep slumber.
