Dancing With the Stars (DWTS) is about to get a little bit larger than life when it returns for season 21 this fall. While the full cast won't debut until September 2 on Good Morning America, one of the contestants has already been revealed and it is none other than Backstreet Boy heartthrob Nick Carter. A.J. McLean, and Brian Littrell's bandmate has been getting offers to join the show for the last four years, and has finally agreed to be part of the ABC competition this year. So who finally gave him the push to do the show? Well hold on to your seatbelts because this is going to get your 00s kid's head spinning. Turns out it was none other than Joey Fatone, putting any talk of an Nsync rivalry to bed once and for all.
According to Us Weekly, Carter couldn't be more excited about joining the series, after Fatone gave him the final push came to agree to it.
"He talks about it all the time and I was really debating if I wanted to do it, and he said, 'It's a great experience, it keeps you in shape and it'll teach you a lot of stuff,'" the BSB star explained of his buddy's advice. "He said, 'You'll get what you put into it.' And I'm a hard worker, so I think it'll be fun."

Nick also took to his Twitter account to reach out to his fans and thank them for the love he has received since revealing the news.
Thanks for all your support. Looking forward to showing you my moves @DancingABC — Nick Carter (@nickcarter) August 26, 2015
"Thanks for all your support," the starlet tweeted. "Looking forward to showing you my moves."
However, it looks like the pop star has some big shoes to fill as his brother Aaron Carter was a contestant on the show and finished in fifth place with his partner Karina Smirnoff back in season 9.
USA Today is reporting that Carter is rumored to be joined by other stars Bindi Irwin and Victor Espinoza. The full cast will be revealed next week.
