USA's 'Mr. Robot' Episode 10 Recap: Christian Slater, Rami Malek's "eps1.9_zer0-day.avi!"

The highly anticipated hacker drama, Mr. Robot airs its first season finale on USA Network. In Episode 10, eps1.9_zer0-day.avi, will Angela (Portia Doubleday) save herself now that Elliot (Rami Malek) and Mr. Robot (Christian Slater) have teamed-up with Tyrell Wellick (Martin Wallström)?

Elliot's therapist, Krista (Gloria Reuben), meets with her ex but it's happy to see Lenny. He lied to her and told him he was dying from cancer. A victim of Ashley Madison, Lenny went to the police because Elliot had hacked into his account. Lenny wants Krista to help him gather evidence against Elliot, but she refuses to say anything to him.

As Lenny watches television, the revolution has already started. Two days have passed since Elliot finds himself waking up in Tyrell's car. In the subway, Angela is anxious as she enter Evil Corp headquarters, which is already a wreck. FSociety is in the middle of destroying their equipment.  

Darlene (Carly Chaikin) wonders why Elliot executed the gangbusters plan without telling her. Three days have passed now that his hacking group is gaining popularity and press online. Elliot realizes he needs to speak with his father again.  

Losing money fast, Gideon (Michael Gill) is told he may have to shut down AllSafe. As the hallways of Evil Corp are cluttered with people and papers, Elliot tries to find Tyrell in the craziness. On the news, Elliot watches the masked man's video message, who has erased the economy's debt. Everyone in Times Square is wearing his mask. 

Angela continues to get yelled at her new job at Evil Corp. The members FSociety burn the rest of their equipment in a dog oven and release the dogs in the animal shelter. After knocking on Trell's door, he suddenly meets with his wife, Joanna (Stephanie Corneliussen). As Elliot and Joanna lie to each other, he learns Tyrell has been missing for three days.

While on camera, an Evil Corp executive reveals the pubic should be worried; his pension and savings are gone. He takes out a gun and commits suicide on live television, which Angela is unable to stop. Afterwards, Angela's shoes are stained with his blood.

Unfortunately, Angela invited to another live conference by her new boss, who gives her money for new shoes. Elliot returns back to the car and finds an external hard rive. Taking a look at the drive, Elliot uncovers video of the day he fell from the railing. To get Mr. Robot out of hiding, Elliot calls 911 to make a confession.

While Angela is seduced by the wealth, Elliot is choking himself in real life while taking to his father. Mr. Robot refuses to tell him where Tyrell is, because he already knows. Mr. Robot then gets Elliot punched by a random stranger.

While talking to her new boss, Angela asks why he is so confident. People did this; not gods, nor aliens. Angela then asks why she's really her. He finds her refreshing and bold, what Evil Corp needs. 

While FSociety celebrates, a march is going on in Times Square. Elliot tries to regain sanity as his hallucinations get worse. After Mr. Robot delivers his monologue, Elliot wishes to be left alone and the march disappears. Alone in Times Square, Mr. Robot speaks to him on the big screen, to start listening and do what he says.

Following his father's instructions, Elliot starts crying as he goes home, watches the news, and hears a knock at the door. 

After Elliot opens the door, a limousine arrives at a mansion, Evil Corp promises to handle the saboteur as White Rose (B.D. Wong) describes Rome burning. White Rose has been playing both sides the entire time.
