Judge Joe Brown is getting a taste of his own medicine and spending five days behind bars following his courtroom outburst back in 2014. The 68-year-old turned himself in to do his time earlier this week after he was arrested for "contempt of court" in Memphis, Tenn., back in March 2014.
The former judge didn't look quite like his days on TV in the photo below, and even seemed a bit aged.

MStars News previously reported that Brown got into an heated argument when he was representing someone during a child custody case. Brown's tantrum back in 2014 started when the court staff had no record of the case in question. Brown became verbally abusive and wouldn't calm down. As a result he was cited for contempt five times and sent to jail for five days. Brown tried to appeal his case, but the Tennessee Supreme Court wasn't hearing what the Judge had to say.
In a statement, Brown claimed that he wasn't going to apologize for acting in such a crazy behavior. "I will not apologize for vigorously defending my client and demanding that the court follow the law. What I saw was a miscarriage of justice and I did what needed to be done," he continued, "I will serve the time and I will continue stand up and speak out for justice as I have done throughout my 40-year legal career."
Brown added, "When our courts don't follow the rule of law, justice is in jeopardy for everyone. Thank you to all of my supporters. Your prayers and well wishes are appreciated."
The former Judge was part of CBS with his hit show Judge Joe Brown from 1998 to 2013, when the second highest rating show to Judge Judy was canceled.
