'Teen Mom 2' Leah Messer Drugs Accusation Explained By Ex Corey Simms On Twitter

Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer is still dealing with accusations that she has been addicted to drugs all the while taking care of her daughters. The MTV star's rehab stay back in May is currently airing on the hit reality series and her first ex-husband, Corey Simms (who is also the father of her twins Ali and Aleeah) recently took to Twitter to explain why he accused Leah of being on drugs.

"Idk why I'm tweeting this because I honestly do not care what people think or what they say about me but anyways. There is a reason for everything that Miranda and myself have said or done. We simply want the girls to grow up in a safe and healthy environment," the West Virginia native said.

Corey then shockingly divulged that it was Leah's own family that was the source of his worries about her pill popping, which is what led him to confront her on camera.

"There is a lot of things that has been told to us by very close members of her family that lead us to believe the things being told are very much true," he wrote. "If we didn't care about the girls or the situation we would obviously not have anything to say or do about it."

The reality dad ended his posts by giving gratitude to those that have stood by him and his wife Miranda while going through all of the drama with his ex-wife. He tweeted, "Thank you to the people who understand and to the people that don't well that just sucks now don't it?"

Many fans were surprised in last week's episode when Corey and Miranda met Leah face to face to discuss her going to rehab. MTV had to put subtitles under Leah since she couldn't complete sentences and seemed to be slurring her words. However, the mother of three profusely denied being a drug addict throughout the conversation. Check out their fight:

As MStars News reported, in a sneak peek of the next episode, Leah's mom, Dawn Spears, asks Corey if she can take the twins to see their mother in rehab on Mother's Day. When Dawn doesn't tell Corey where Leah is staying, he refuses to let her take the kids unless she divulges the MTV mom's whereabouts.
