Imagine meeting your hero and hearing that they really don't like you. Sounds like a bummer, doesn't it? Well, New Jersey governor Chris Christie is (sort of) finding himself in a similar situation with another huge NJ name: Bruce Springsteen. It looks like the two created a tiny friendship during Hurricane Sandy but in a recent interview is Sean Hannity on Fox News, Christie admits that Springsteen isn't a huge fan of him – mainly his politics.
Sounds oh-so-heartbreaking, doesn't it?
NJ.com is reporting that the Christie-Springsteen friendship spawned during efforts to help New Jersey rebuild after the horrible hurricane hit its shores. You know, SUPER STORM SANDY!!!!!
Well, while the two were friendly then, now things are a tad different:
"You love Bruce Springsteen," Hannity said to Christie. "Does Jon Bon Jovi, who also lives in New Jersey, get mad that you're always talking about Springsteen?"
Christie claimed that he's actually friends with Bon Jovi, so he doesn't get angry. "Bruce, I know; Jon, I'm friends with."
Hannity then brought up that Springsteen is a "huge liberal" and probably hates his guts.
"He never told me he 'hated' you, but I could suspect he might," Christie said, "Listen, he's not all that fond of me, either." Chrisite then admitted that he's not "his cup of tea" in terms of politics.
Which, seeing as Christie is a longtime fan of Springsteen, sucks.
The rest of Christie's interview was filled with some jargon about politics and how he would "fix" the country if he were to become President of the United States. It's a bunch of stuff that no one cares about because, let's face it, Springsteen is of no mention.
Take a look at Hannity and Christie's conversation about Springsteen below. It's literally the first 30 seconds and the rest of the interview is filled with that nonsensical stuff called politics. Which, again, has no mention of Springsteen so you can easily skip through that. Or, well, just stop watching.
