Audiences have been eagerly binge-watching Marvel's Daredevil on Netflix. As a new casting announcement for Season 2 of Marvel's Daredevil has been made, will Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) will find himself up with a new friend or enemy in Blake Tower (Stephen Rider)?
We mentioned before, Netflix has announced Season 2 of the Man Without Fear series. There will be a few changes this time around as executive producer Steven S. DeKnight steps down and adds new showrunners Doug Petrie (American Horror Story) and Marco Ramirez (Sons of Anarchy). The man without fear continues his crime-fighting adventures after defeating Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio), which nearly came with a heavy cost.
We also mentioned, the former Walking Dead actor will portray their most popular characters. Staying true to his comic book origins, Frank Castle aims to clean up New York City's Hell's Kitchen by any means necessary. The Punisher and Daredevil will become at odds over the differences between justice and vengeance.
According to Deadline, the Netflix drama will be introducing another character from the Marvel Universe in its sophomore season. The Lee Daniels' The Butler actor will be joining the upcoming superhero series as a new regular. Rider has landed the role of Blake Tower, a district attorney for New York City who helps the masked vigilante and Matt Murdock.
Following the comic book mythology, Tower has key information that could help track down and capture criminals. Could one of those criminals be the female assassin known as Elektra (played by Elodie Yung) aka "The Greek Girl." Beside changing the race of the character, it looks like Blake Tower, won't be working with fellow layer She-Hulk at his law firm anytime soon.
