'The Flash' Season 2 Spoilers: Teddy Sears' Jay Garrick, Grant Gustin's Barry Allen Poster!

With the first season cliffhanger leaving audiences hanging, the CW network released a new promo and poster for Season 2 of The Flash. Will Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) find himself teaming up with Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) in a span of Two Weeks?

In our first season recap, Barry Allen finally woke up from his coma, after being struck by lightning. Given super-speed powers, Barry belonged to small group of friends, Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker), and Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes), who know his secret identity. They worked together against super villains, including Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), and teamed up with the Arrow (Stephen Amell). But they never realized their true enemy was lurking within their midst, the Reverse-Flash (Cavanagh).

We mentioned before, Teddy Sears (Masters of Sex) actor will play the recurring role of Jay Garrick, the Silver Age Flash. Viewers caught a glimpse of Jay's iconic winged helmet in the first season finale. In his arrival, Jay warns Barry and his team at S.T.A.R. Labs about an impending danger that he alone cannot stop. Is his warning though about Zoom (voiced by Tony Todd)?

According to Comic Book Resources, in the newly released clip, there are behind the scenes footage mixed in with live action shots from the upcoming premiere. In one of the shoots, we see how Garrick pretends to run fast in front of a green screen, while being tied to a wire. Cisco is getting "Goosies" as Jay and Barry shake hands, which promises to be the start of their mentor/protege relationship.

On the official The Flash Twitter, in the new poster, the caption states, "You're getting warmer. Only 2 WEEKS until #TheFlash season premiere!"

The Flash returns for Season 2 on Tuesday, October. 6, at 8/7c.
