New 'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Photos Drop Major Spoilers on Kit Harington's Jon Snow

HBO's Game of Thrones continues to generate much buzz during its offseason and some new photos drop some major spoilers about Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke).

Comic Book Movie has posted the photos, which you can check out by clicking the link. So let's focus here on what these photos mean.

First, they confirm that Harington will be back as Jon Snow in Season 6. For starters, the character is wearing new armor indicative of his family, so perhaps Jon Snow has actually become Jon Stark. The photos also show him with a multitude of extras, which appears to be made up of Boltons, Umbers and allies from the Night's Watch. Comic Book Movie notes the rumor that the resurrect Jon Snow is trying to retake Winterfell, his family's home, from the Boltons.

As for Dany, we see the queen leading an army of Dothraki alongside Daario Naharis (Michiel Huisman), so it's pretty clear that she got out of that jam she was in at the end of the Season 5 finale.

After the initial shock, few fans actually believed Jon Snow had died permanently, and Harington only fueled that fire with his comments. Recently, the actor spoke to Belgian magazine Humo, and a user on Reddit translated the interview as follows:

"I often felt frustrated as well. I had to pass on amazing parts because I was attached to Game of Thrones. So the show is like a double-edged sword to me: I owe a lot to it, but at the same time it has almost completely drained me. Oh well, I try not to think about it too much. The important thing is that I now know exactly how long I am still under contract, and in the meantime –

How many more seasons would that be?

Nice try (laughs). I can't talk about that. Let's just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while, I'll probably be in my thirties when it's over. One thing's for sure: the day I'm no longer on Thrones is the day I'll bury myself in movie projects (laughs)."
