Zendaya Debuts Dreadlocks Barbie Doll! [PHOTOS] Actress Says: "How Times Have Changed"

Times have truly changed if you ask actress Zendaya! The multi-talented star has something to be proud of because Barbie just debut her new doll that has dreadlocks! MStars News previously reported that Barbie revealed they were making a Zendaya lookalike doll of the former Disney star's look from this year's Oscars red carpet.

In the snapshot below, Zendaya posted a photo of the doll that features her controversial dreadlocks and and beautiful gown and wrote: "When I was little I couldn't find a Barbie that looked like me, my... how times have changed. Thank you @barbie for this honor and for allowing me to be apart of your diversification and expansion of the definition of beauty."

It has truly been a wild year for Zendaya after she was the topic of discussion on Fashion Police. MStars News previously reported that the E! News show caught major backlash after host Giuliana Rancic made comments claiming Zendaya's dreadlocks "smells like patchouli oil or weed."

Following the comments, Zendaya clapped back at the show and called Rancic's words "disrespectful" and "offensive." Since then, a lot has changed on the show, including Kelly Osbourne's departure. Osbourne claimed that she wasn't part of those awful comments and quit the show.

Zendaya's new Barbie received a lot of praise from fans and celebrities like Nicki Minaj. Minaj had her own lookalike doll made by Barbie (Mattel Company) and posted a photo of it while shouting out Zendaya for her new doll.

"Congrats on your doll, Zendaya! Did you know Barbie made me one a couple years back? It was such an honor & a HUGE surprise. Anyway I love your doll's hair! I love what it means for other little girls who will identify with it & be empowered. Continue to be proud of yourself girls," the "Anaconda" rapper wrote.
